How is it Paradoxical?

Even though gambling remains an issue that neither sides with what is right or wrong, one thing is for sure: It remains steady, yet unpredictable to people.

But how on earth could that be possible, if at all? "Steady, yet unpredictable." Its steadiness pertains to the continuous flow of money coming from an inevitable source, which is gambling.

Players are most willing to give anything in exchange of gaining what they invest, double-time. So these players tend to work doubly hard to achieve that one goal they aim for, and that is winning the game they are playing.

Unpredictability, on the other hand, goes either way - the gambler may win, or not. Skeptics say that gambling is no doubt a vicious cycle; losing that one, full shot at first, and winning the next. Or this happen vice-versa.

Some lose in a game consecutively, some don't. It's that touch of mystery - that little something which actually entices a whole a lot to give it their best shot. Why not?

Gambling may appear evil to some. Those who abused their patience in the name of the game admit to this grave error that surely robbed their security, everything.

But who is to blame? Should gambling be wholly responsible for their loss? Did it ever pop out of a burning bush to hand them a stone tablet with its rules engraved on it? Absolutely not.

Those who got impatient and used their emotions to get the ball rolling back again failed, and found themselves stuck at a depth they have not known until they hit the floor the hard way.

A lesson that should be learned and gamblers who have gone astray are still the expert when it comes to this. And they are right, even in the end.

Come to think of it, gambling was an innovation of its kind, and it evolved in ways man has ever known. That one activity known with so many faces, only with one determined purpose.

Gambling is a hobby, business, to name a few. Some of these games associated with gambling have become sports, too. Like pool, for example. A field that earns respect and that is just one of the many advantages of gambling.

A good player knows his boundaries - and the amount he is about to spend. Stuff like that. Like substance abuse, anything taken in excess can be really harmful. This is the simplest warning gambling has to say, yet some lose their reins in controlling themselves not to get further.
